I am emailing you to ask if you have a spare copy of the pantomime Robinson Cruiso. It was preformed back in the 1970’s.
I have not been able to find my copy, only the publicity photos.
The two players l remember apart from myself ar Ruby Goldsmith, played th dame and Reg Holdsworth played man friday. I was in the chorus and crew.
To avoid loss and missing materials in future suggests the need to establish a Trowbridge Players Archives into which, systematically, all publications – programmes, publicity leaflets, posters, etc – and photographs are placed in respect of each performance and event.
Raise this at the AGM to gauge the response. If supported, identify a secure place for storage (fire protected and flood free) but accessible and appoint an archivist to take charge of the collection. Seek advice from the County Records Office in Bath if necessary.
